ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,421,721, issued on Sept. 23, was assigned to Delta-X GmbH Ingenieurgesellschaft (Stuttgart, Germany).
"Console for retractable roofs and facades" was invented by Albrecht Burmeister (Weissach im Tal, Germany), Lutz Eitel (Esslingen, Germany) and Michael Keefer (Weinstadt, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention relates to a console with the aid of which large roofs and facade elements can be horizontally or vertically retracted."
