ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,345,009, issued on July 1, was assigned to Delta SubSea LLC (Montgomery, Texas).

"Suction pile cofferdam" was invented by Scott P. Dingman (Montgomery, Texas) and Perry Loughridge (Montgomery, Texas).
