ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,467,244, issued on Nov. 11, was assigned to Delta Faucet Co. (Indianapolis).
"Housing for a flow modifying device" was invented by Mark Cipriani (Carmel, Ind.), Darrell Scott Crowe (Zionsville, Ind.) and Stephen Boedicker (Whitestown, Ind.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A housing fluidly coupled to an inlet tube received within a faucet delivery spout. The housing receives a flow modifying device (e.g., an aerator or a stream straightener), and includes a first baffle and a second baffle to provide a desired water flow to the flow modifying device."
The patent was filed on July 29, 2022, under Application No. 17/877,134.
