ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. RE50,350, issued on March 25, was assigned to Delta Faucet Co. (Indianapolis).
"Magnetic coupling for sprayheads" was invented by Alfred Charles Nelson (Westfield, Ind.) and Christopher Michael McGuire (Fishers, Ind.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A faucet including a faucet head, a body and a magnetic coupling releasably coupling the faucet head to the faucet body."
The patent was filed on April 16, 2020, under Application No. 16/850,681.
