US Patent Issued to Dell Products on July 29 for "SAN single path point of failure detection" (American, Indian Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,373,278, issued on July 29, was assigned to Dell Products LP (Hopkinton, Mass.).

"SAN single path point of failure detection" was invented by Scott Rowlands (Cumming, Ga.), Krishna Deepak Nuthakki (Bangalore, India) and Arieh Don (Newton, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A storage array is configured to detect single points of failure (SPoFs) that could cause a host application to fail.
