US Patent Issued to Dell Products on Feb. 18 for "Adaptive display screen partitioning" (Singaporean, American Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,229,393, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to Dell Products LP (Round Rock, Texas).

"Adaptive display screen partitioning" was invented by Dengzhai Xiong (Singapore), Karthikeyan Krishnakumar (Austin, Texas) and Boon Kiat Law (Singapore).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An information handling system selects applicable display partitions based on the properties of a display screen, and determines a preferred window size of an application. The system adjusts a target zone of a window of the application based on the preferred window size."
