ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,472,296, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to DEKA Products LP (Manchester, N.H.).

"Recirculating fluid filtration system" was invented by Rodney S. Kenley (Libertyville, Ill.), Ryan K. LaRocque (Manchester, N.H.) and Andrew A. Schnellinger (Merrimack, N.H.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A fluid filtration system comprising a cross-flow filter is arranged to permit a first pump to recirculate part of the retentate of the filter to the inlet of the cross-flow filter and a second pump to return part of the permeate to the inlet of the cross-flow filter.
