ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,215,759, issued on Feb. 4, was assigned to DEIS Products LLC (Austin, Texas).
"Shackle with positive locking pin mechanism" was invented by Joshua Z Gahr (Austin, Texas).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A shackle having a body with a bow portion, and first and second end portions. Each end portion having a pin opening. A pin is configured to fit through the pin openings, and a nut is configured with at least one locking ball to engage with the pin. A method of operating the shackle."
