US Patent Issued to DEERE & Co. on Nov. 4 for "Controlling components of row unit based on soil strength" (Illinois, Iowa Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,457,921, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to DEERE & COMPANY (Moline, Ill.).

"Controlling components of row unit based on soil strength" was invented by Kelby J. Krueger (Geneseo, Ill.), Elijah B. Garner (Bettendorf, Iowa) and Cary S. Hubner (Geneseo, Ill.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An agricultural machine includes a soil strength generation system that generates an output indicator of soil strength. A control system generates on action signal based on the soil strength."
