ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,466,481, issued on Nov. 11, was assigned to Deere & Co. (Moline, Ill.).
"Control lever calibration system" was invented by Alexander K. Waters (Apex, N.C.) and Sujith Vijaya Kumar (Cary, N.C.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A control lever calibration system includes translating position signals of a control lever to traction drive motor commands for a work vehicle, determining if the position signals are within a stored range of control lever position signals, and expanding the stored range if position signals are outside the stored range."
The patent was filed on Dec. 21, 2022, under Application No. 18/069,243.
