ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,436,257, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to DecaWave Ltd. (Dublin).
"Ultra-wideband communication system" was invented by Michael McLaughlin (Dublin), Ciaran McElroy (Dublin), Igor Dotlic (Dublin), Billy Verso (Maynooth, Ireland) and Jaroslaw Niewczas (Jozefow, Poland).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "In an ultra-wideband ("UWB") communication system, methods are disclosed for transmitting packets in multiple portions, each having a different pulse repetition frequency ("PRF"). Methods are also disclosed for transmitting packets discontinuously."
The patent was filed on Sept. 5, 2023, under Application No. 18/242,293.
