ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. PP36,885, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to Danziger "DAN" Flower Farm (Israel).

"Impatiens plant named 'DIMPSLPRRD'" was invented by Gavriel Danziger (Beit Dagan, Israel).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct cultivar of Impatiens plant named 'DIMPSLPRRD' is disclosed, characterized by large red flowers, and dark olive-green foliage. Plants are sun-resistant, have mounded habits and are well-branched. The new variety is an Impatiens, typically produced as an ornamental plant."

The patent was filed on Jan. 16, 2025, under Application No. 19/026,197.
