ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 29 -- United States Patent no. 12,209,236, issued on Jan. 28, was assigned to DANISCO US INC. (Palo Alto, Calif.).
"Overexpression of fumarate reductase results in an increased fermentation rate in yeast" was invented by Celia Emily Gaby Payen (Wilmington, Del.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Described are compositions and methods relating to modified yeast that overexpress fumarate reductase.
