ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,281,200, issued on April 22, was assigned to DAIKIN INDUSTRIES LTD. (Osaka, Japan).
"Fluoropolyether group-containing compound" was invented by Hideyuki Ikeuchi (Osaka, Japan), Masato Naitou (Osaka, Japan), Motoshi Matsui (Osaka, Japan) and Takashi Nomura (Osaka, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A fluoropolyether group-containing compound of formula (1a) or formula (1b):wherein RF1, RF2, R1 and R2 are as defined herein."
