US Patent Issued to DAIKI on June 10 for "Excrement treatment material and method for manufacturing the same" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,324,408, issued on June 10, was assigned to DAIKI Co. LTD. (Tokyo).

"Excrement treatment material and method for manufacturing the same" was invented by Junji Yoshinaga (Tokyo), Shinobu Hatanaka (Tochigi, Japan) and Takahiro Hosoya (Tochigi, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An excrement treatment material is composed of a grain that has a hydrophobic property. The grain contains a water-absorbent material as a main material, and contains baking soda."

The patent was filed on Oct. 18, 2023, under Application No. 18/381,259.
