ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,389,873, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to DAIKI Co. LTD. (Tokyo).
"Animal toilet" was invented by Junji Yoshinaga (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An animal toilet includes a body portion, and a partition portion. The body portion has a bottom face part and a side face part, and is in a box shape. The partition portion has a through hole allowing urine to pass therethrough, and divides the inside of the body portion vertically. The opening area of the through hole is variable."
The patent was filed on March 22, 2023, under Application No. 18/124,847.
