ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,291,577, issued on May 6, was assigned to DAIICHI SANKYO Co. LTD. (Tokyo).

"Anti-MUC1 antibody-drug conjugate" was invented by Johanna Gellert (Berlin), Anke Flechner (Berlin), Doreen Weigelt (Berlin), Antje Danielczyk (Berlin) and Akiko Nagase (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention pertains to novel antibody drug conjugates (ADC) comprising anti-MUC1 antibody. In particular, said ADC showed significant anti-tumor efficacy."

The patent was filed on July 10, 2023, under Application No. 18/349,438.
