ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,412,695, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to CYNTEC Co. LTD. (Hsinchu, Taiwan).
"Magnetic device and the method to make the same" was invented by Chi-Hsun Lee (Taipei, Taiwan) and Min-Feng Chung (Taichung, Taiwan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A recess is formed on a bottom surface of a body of an inductor, wherein an electrode for connecting to a ground is disposed in the recess, and an electrode connecting with a coil of the inductor is disposed on a protruding portion adjacent to the recess."
The patent was filed on Oct. 22, 2021, under Application No. 17/508,940.
