US Patent Issued to Cutting Edge Packaging Solutions on Sept. 2 for "Cutter and roll-dispensed stock container" (North Carolina, Florida, Virginia Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,404,138, issued on Sept. 2, was assigned to Cutting Edge Packaging Solutions LLC (Sarasota, Fla.).

"Cutter and roll-dispensed stock container" was invented by Paul Vegliante (Sarasota, Fla.), Keith Antal (Nebo, N.C.) and Michael Tucker (Waynesboro, Va.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A cutter for roll-dispensed stock is provided. The cutter has a retracted blade that can be actuated by depressing a button to move the blade to an extended position for cutting roll-dispensed stock."

The patent was filed on Nov. 19, 2019, under Application No. 16/689,059.
