ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,383,874, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to Cummins Emission Solutions Inc. (Columbus, Ind.).

"Exhaust aftertreatment assembly with a mixer having a mixing plate that is crescent shaped" was invented by Donald Edward Willey (Huddersfield, Great Britain) and Ryan Aaron Petersen (Greenwood, Ind.).
