US Patent Issued to CubicPV on Dec. 2 for "Metal oxide nanoparticle with alkylsiloxane ligands bonded thereto" (Texas Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,486,235, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to CubicPV Inc. (Bedford, Mass.).

"Metal oxide nanoparticle with alkylsiloxane ligands bonded thereto" was invented by Michael David Irwin (Heath, Texas), Marissa Lynn Higgins (Forney, Texas) and Nicholas Charles Anderson (Dallas).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A metal oxide nanoparticle comprises a metal oxide core of formula M2O5, wherein M is tantalum (V) or niobium (V) and alkylsiloxane ligands bonded to the metal oxide core."

The patent was filed on May 9, 2023, under Application No. 18/314,772.
