US Patent Issued to CTC Global on March 25 for "Termination arrangement for an overhead electrical cable including a tensile strain sheath" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,261,422, issued on March 25, was assigned to CTC Global Corp. (Irvine, Calif.).

"Termination arrangement for an overhead electrical cable including a tensile strain sheath" was invented by William Webb (Laguna Niguel, Calif.) and Christopher Wong (Santa Ana, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A termination arrangement for securing an overhead electrical cable and a method for securing an overhead electrical cable. The termination arrangement includes a longitudinally-extending sheath having a high tensile modulus that is configured to receive a strength member of the overhead electrical cable therein."
