ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,326,965, issued on June 10, was assigned to CRYPTOWERK CORP. (San Mateo, Calif.).
"Cryptographic data storage" was invented by Peter Ebert (Menlo Park, Calif.) and Jochen Bedersdorfer (San Francisco).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present application concerns a method and a system of storing one or more service data items. To store and share in particular confidential data, the one or more service data items are partitioned into one or more data stores. The one or more data stores are stored. Metadata of the one or more data stores is generated and the metadata is stored in a metadata database."
