ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,458,582, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to CROMA-PHARMA GMBH (Leobendorf, Austria).
"Stabilized hyaluronic acid" was invented by Robert Sachsenhofer (Vienna).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Sterile hydrogel composition comprising crosslinked hyaluronan, wherein the amount of extractable hyaluronan having a molecular weight of less than 200 kDa is less than 15 wt. % relative to the total amount of hyaluronan."
The patent was filed on June 14, 2019, under Application No. 17/252,549.
