ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 13 -- United States Patent no. 12,523,363, issued on Jan. 13, was assigned to CREE LIGHTING USA LLC (Racine, Wis.).

"Easily-serviced area light" was invented by Nathan R. Snell (Raleigh, N.C.), Mark P. Boomgaarden (Cary, N.C.), Kurt Schreib (Waukesha, Wis.), Corey Goldstein (Milwaukee) and Randall Levy Bernard (Conshohocken, Pa.).
