ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,294,103, issued on May 6, was assigned to CPS Technology Holdings LLC (New York).

"Valve assembly for a battery cover" was invented by Nicholas E. Elison (Mequon, Wis.), Dale B. Trester (Waukesha, Wis.) and Arunraj Varatharajah (Menomonee Falls, Wis.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A valve assembly for a battery cover is provided. The valve assembly may advantageously allow for testing prior to installation on a battery cover. A battery is also provided."

The patent was filed on March 7, 2022, under Application No. 17/688,472.
