ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 29 -- United States Patent no. 12,208,175, issued on Jan. 28, was assigned to Covidien LP (Mansfield, Mass.).

"Disposable cleaning units for a reusable medical device" was invented by Matthew A. Rootes (Crystal, Minn.) and Nathan J. Knutson (Long Lake, Minn.).
