ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,281,043, issued on April 22, was assigned to Cosentino Research & Development S.L. (Cantoria-Almeria, Spain).

"Artificial agglomerated stone" was invented by Beatriz Alvarez Baladron (Cantoria-Almeria, Spain) and Daniel Risueno Moreno (Cantoria-Almeria, Spain).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to an artificial agglomerated stone comprising micronized feldspar and to a method for its manufacturing."
