US Patent Issued to Corning on June 24 for "Methods for forming thin glass sheets" (French Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,338,154, issued on June 24, was assigned to Corning Inc. (Corning, N.Y.).

"Methods for forming thin glass sheets" was invented by Allan Mark Fredholm (Vulaines sur Seine, France).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "According to one or more embodiments disclosed herein, a glass sheet may be formed by a method which includes supplying a feed of molten glass to an upper surface of a pair of forming rolls, and rotating the pair of forming wheels to continuously form a glass sheet from the molten glass.
