ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,378,149, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to CORNING Inc. (Corning, N.Y.).

"Precursor glasses and glass-ceramics comprising a crystalline phase having a jeffbenite crystalline structure" was invented by George Halsey Beall (Big Flats, N.Y.), John Philip Finkeldey (Elkland, Pa.) and Charlene Marie Smith (Corning, N.Y.).
