According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method includes computing one or more values of at least one parameter at respective times during an exhalation of a subject, based on one or more properties of sound passing through air exhaled by the subject during the exhalation, the parameter being related to a concentration of a gas in the air.
