ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,350,177, issued on July 8, was assigned to COOK MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES LLC (Bloomington, Ind.).

"Minimally invasive implantable devices" was invented by Elizabeth M. Brown (Bloomington, Ind.), Donald R. Sandmore (Ellettsville, Ind.), Kathryn R. Hardert (Bloomington, Ind.) and Erin Roberts (Bloomington, Ind.).
