ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,302,924, issued on May 20, was assigned to Conopco Inc. (Hoboken, N.J.).
"Frozen confection" was invented by Michelle Elizabeth Neville (Bedford, Great Britain).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A frozen confection comprising freezing point depressant in an amount of 1 to 30 wt %, pulse protein in an amount of 0.4 to 10 wt % and lysine, wherein the weight ratio of plant protein to lysine is from 3:1 to 8:1."
The patent was filed on Sept. 28, 2020, under Application No. 17/764,361.
