ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,377,030, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to Conopco Inc. (Hoboken, N.J.).
"Low viscosity, high polyol self-foaming composition" was invented by Lin Yang (Woodbridge, Conn.), Sheng Liang Tsaur (Norwood, N.J.) and Kevin David Hermanson (Woodbridge, Conn.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention provides high viscosity, low polyol compositions. By using surfactant system wherein 50% or more of the surfactant system comprises a surfactant of defined Vh/Icao value, it is possible to provide such composition having good foam appearance. If surfactants of such value are not used, the high polyol, low viscosity composition have "bad" foam attr...
