ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,226,589, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to Conmed Corp. (Largo, Fla.).
"Multi-lumen shaft used with endoscopic device" was invented by Andrew Joseph Dusbabek (Dayton, Minn.), Scott Arvin Olson (Princeton, Minn.), Christen Andrew Springs (Houston) and Isaac Raijman (Houston).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Briefly, in accordance with one embodiment, a multi-lumen shaft may be used to with an endoscopic instrument."
The patent was filed on June 27, 2023, under Application No. 18/342,274.
