ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,366,002, issued on July 22, was assigned to Condas GMBH (Itzehoe, Germany) and Johannes Gutenberg-Universitat Mainz (Mainz, Germany).

"Process for the oxidation of carbon-containing organic compounds with electrochemically generated oxidizing agents and arrangement for carrying out the process" was invented by Siegfried Waldvogel (Gau-Algesheim, Germany), Michael Zirbes (Mainz, Germany), Rieke Neuber (Halstenbek, Germany) and Thorsten Matthee (Hohenaspe, Germany).
