ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,419,403, issued on Sept. 23, was assigned to Conair LLC (Stamford, Conn.).

"Hair tools with additives" was invented by Sophia Wojczak (Harrison, N.Y.), Lawrence Cruz (Weston, Conn.), Daniel Bishop (Monroe, Conn.) and Jennifer Burke (Stamford, Conn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A hair tool includes a handle portion and a plurality of bristles operatively connected to the handle, the bristles containing at least one therapeutic agent additive. The at least one therapeutic agent additive includes CBD or hemp seed oil."
