ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,460,004, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to Compass Therapeutics LLC (Brighton, Mass.).

"Antibodies that bind CD277 and uses thereof" was invented by Piotr Bobrowicz (Hanover, N.H.), Paul Widboom (Lebanon, N.H.) and Michael March Schmidt (Wellesley, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to, inter alia, compounds (e.g., antibodies, or antigen-binding fragments thereof) that bind to CD277, for treating, or ameliorating one or more symptoms of cancer."

The patent was filed on Aug. 9, 2019, under Application No. 17/267,066.
