ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,298,577, issued on May 13, was assigned to COMMSCOPE TECHNOLOGIES LLC (Hickory, N.C.).
"Telecommunications enclosure" was invented by Johan Geens (Bunsbeek, Belgium) and Sai Cheung Lam (Sterrebeck, Belgium).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to a telecommunications enclosure having cable ports and an internal optical tapping or indexing architecture. The cable ports can be defined by hardened fiber optic adapters."
The patent was filed on May 14, 2020, under Application No. 17/612,518.
