ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,407,433, issued on Sept. 2, was assigned to Comcast Cable Communications LLC (Philadelphia).
"Sidelink congestion control" was invented by Hyukjin Chae (Fairfax, Va.), Esmael Hejazi Dinan (McLean, Va.) and Kyungmin Park (Vienna, Va.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Wireless communications are described for sidelink congestion control. Sidelink congestion control may be performed based on a processing capability of a wireless device and/or sidelink subcarrier spacing."
The patent was filed on March 9, 2023, under Application No. 18/181,220.
