US Patent Issued to Comcast Cable Communications on Oct. 14 for "Device-based notification generation" (Colorado, Missouri Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,444,292, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to Comcast Cable Communications LLC (Philadelphia).

"Device-based notification generation" was invented by Adam Eng (Golden, Colo.) and Tyler Vitale (Eureka, Mo.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for determining a notification based on device properties. A device identification database may associate device identifications with device properties. A device identification associated with a device may be received, and corresponding device properties may be determined. Based on the device properties, a notification may be determined and sent."
