ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,341,719, issued on June 24, was assigned to Comcast Cable Communications LLC (Philadelphia).

"Beam failure recovery request transmission" was invented by Hua Zhou (Vienna, Va.), Esmael Hejazi Dinan (McLean, Va.), Hyoungsuk Jeon (Centreville, Va.), Kyungmin Park (Vienna, Va.) and Alireza Babaei (Fairfax, Va.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for wireless communications. A base station may transmit an indication of a type of a beam failure recovery request. A wireless device may detect a beam failure and transmit a beam failure recovery requested based on the type."
