US Patent Issued to Comcast Cable Communications on Dec. 30 for "Mobile WiFi network" (New Jersey, Pennsylvania Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,513,488, issued on Dec. 30, was assigned to Comcast Cable Communications LLC (Philadelphia).

"Mobile WiFi network" was invented by Michael J. Cook (Flemington, N.J.) and Ivan Ong (Malvern, Pa.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Methods, apparatuses, computer-readable media, and systems are provided for managing a dynamic wireless network. Access points may be mobile and may be caused to move to locations to improve wireless coverage and network access for user devices."

The patent was filed on April 24, 2019, under Application No. 16/393,324.
