ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,214,063, issued on Feb. 4, was assigned to Colgate-Palmolive Co. (New York).
"Peroxymonosulfate whitening strips" was invented by Cajetan Dogo-Isonagie (Mount Laurel, N.J.), Suman Chopra (Monroe, N.J.) and Xiang Chen (Somerset, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure provides a tooth whitening strip comprising a hydratable adhesive film comprising an inorganic salt of peroxymonosulfate, preferably an alkali metal salt or alkaline earth metal salt, or mixtures thereof, and methods of using the same."
The patent was filed on Feb. 18, 2022, under Application No. 17/675,285.
