ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,344,874, issued on July 1, was assigned to Codexis Inc. (Redwood City, Calif.).

"Transaminase biocatalysts" was invented by Christopher K. Savile (Santa Clara, Calif.), Emily Mundorff (Garden City, N.Y.), Jeffrey C. Moore (Westfield, N.J.), Paul N. Devine (Tinton Falls, N.J.) and Jacob M. Janey (New York).
