ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,427,111, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to CodeBridgeBio Inc. (Woburn, Mass.).
"Lipid nanoparticles" was invented by Oscar R. Miranda (Revere, Mass.), Haitao Zhao (Beijing) and Xiaofeng Sun (Sharon, Mass.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to lipid nanoparticles and methods of delivering active agents to target organs, tissues, or cells by utilizing the lipid nanoparticles."
The patent was filed on Oct. 11, 2024, under Application No. 18/912,716.
