ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,350,560, issued on July 8, was assigned to Cobra Golf Inc. (Carlsbad, Calif.).
"Systems and methods for a club head with a variable center of gravity" was invented by D. Clayton Evans (Vista, Calif.), Michael S. Yagley (Carlsbad, Calif.), Ryan L. Roach (Encinitas, Calif.) and Bryce W. Hobbs (Carlsbad, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems and methods for a club head having a weighting system configured to selectively move a front weight vertically within the interior of the club head to raise the center of gravity position of the club head."
