US Patent Issued to Cobalt Coupler Systems on June 24 for "Oil and gas pipe connector" (Colorado Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,338,919, issued on June 24, was assigned to Cobalt Coupler Systems LLC (Fort Collins, Colo.).

"Oil and gas pipe connector" was invented by Jon Joseph Jacobs (Fort Collins, Colo.), Lonnie Joseph Jacobs (Fort Collins, Colo.), Robert Wayne Noyer (Carr, Colo.) and Lloyd Dale Seaton (Windsor, Colo.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Pipe connectors and methods of making and using pipe connectors to connect oil or gas pipe in oil and gas production, refining and distribution."

The patent was filed on Jan. 16, 2023, under Application No. 18/097,344.
