US Patent Issued to CNH Industrial America on June 24 for "Control system and method for increasing rotor speed during combine rotor start-up" (Illinois, Pennsylvania Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,336,456, issued on June 24, was assigned to CNH Industrial America LLC (New Holland, Pa.).

"Control system and method for increasing rotor speed during combine rotor start-up" was invented by Haibo Guo (Naperville, Ill.), Nicholas J. Laufenberg (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) and Michael Rush (Lancaster, Pa.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An agricultural vehicle has an engine, a threshing rotor, and a rotor drive system including a planetary gear assembly and a fluid circuit for driving the rotor at a constant acceleration during a start-up procedure of the rotor."
