US Patent Issued to CNH Industrial America on Jan. 13 for "Reel assembly with retractable sensor arm for an agricultural header" (Pennsylvania Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 13 -- United States Patent no. 12,520,764, issued on Jan. 13, was assigned to CNH Industrial America LLC (New Holland, Pa.).

"Reel assembly with retractable sensor arm for an agricultural header" was invented by Cory Douglas Hunt (Millersville, Pa.) and Herbert Max Farley (Elizabethtown, Pa.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A reel assembly for an agricultural header includes a reel arm configured to couple to a frame of the agricultural header and configured to support a reel of the reel assembly. The reel assembly further includes a device mounting assembly movably coupled to the reel arm and configured to support a device that is configured to monitor a terrain feature. ...
